The Serolsar Legend: Local folklore states that the sacred waters of Serolsar Lake are kept completely clean by a specific species of local birds (called Aabha). The moment a leaf or twig drops onto the water's surface, the birds are said to immediately swoop down and pick it out to maintain the mirror-clear purity of the holy lake. No swimming or stepping into the water is permitted.
