The Journey: Board your overnight Volvo bus from Delhi between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Enjoy the smooth drive up the Delhi-Chandigarh highway before entering the hills of Himachal Pradesh by early morning.

The Journey: Get off the bus at Aut around 7:00 AM–8:00 AM. Hop into a cab that winds through the beautiful Banjar Valley to reach Jibhi. Check into a traditional wooden cottage or treehouse, freshen up and visiting local sightseeing of Jibhi.
Sightseeing Highlights:
Jibhi Waterfall: Hidden inside a dense forest, this waterfall is accessible via a beautifully maintained wooden bridge trail. It’s an easy 15-minute flat walk.
Mini Thailand: A short walk from the Jibhi market brings you to a hidden spot along the river where two massive boulders form a pool resembling a tropical lagoon—hence the nickname
Evening Cafe Hopping: Jibhi has a booming, laid-back cafe culture. Spend your evening by the stream listening to live acoustic music.

Trek Distance / Time: ~10 km | 3-4 hours
The Journey: Have an early breakfast. Today you cross Jalori Pass (3,120 meters / 10,800 feet), one of the steepest motorable passes in the region. Visiting Jalori Pass, Serolsar Lake and Chehni Kothi.
Sightseeing Highlights:
Jalori Pass Viewpoint: Unmatched, dramatic $360^\circ$ views of the snow-capped Himalayas.
Serolsar Lake Trek: Start a beautiful 5 km flat trail from the top of the pass. The trail cuts through dense, mystical oak and rhododendron forests, leading to a crystal-clear holy lake. Right next to the lake sits the ancient Budhi Nagin Temple.
Chehni Kothi: If you prefer architecture over a forest trek, visit this 1,500-year-old, 7-story defensive tower built entirely out of interlocking stone and wood (Kath-Kuni style) without any mortar.
Stay: Jibhi.
Distance / Time: ~30 km (Jibhi to Gushaini/Tirthan) | 1–1.5 hours
The Journey: Check out of Jibhi and drive down into the heart of the Tirthan Valley, specifically targeting the village of Gushaini. The valley is centered around the pristine, glacier-fed Tirthan River.
Sightseeing Highlights:
Chhoie Waterfall: Park your vehicle near Nagini village and take a short, steep 45-minute hike up through pine trees to reach this massive, mist-spraying waterfall.
Tirthan Riverfront Relaxation: Spend your afternoon sitting by the rocky banks of the turquoise river. Tirthan is world-famous for Trout Fishing; you can get a local permit and try your hand at angling.
Stay: Riverside homestay or eco-lodge in Gushaini.
Distance: ~100 km
Sightseeing Points: Shangarh Meadow (The Soul of the Village) and Shangchul Mahadev Temple.
The Journey: Exploring your final day a hidden gem that has beautifully resisted commercialization. Unlike crowded mountain towns, Shangarh is loved for its vast alpine pastures, traditional wooden architecture and slow, peaceful pace of life.
Shangarh Meadow (The Soul of the Village) The primary reason travelers visit Shangarh is its stunning, massive green meadow. Ringed perfectly by towering deodar trees with traditional wooden houses dotting the edges, it resembles a pristine, natural golf course.
Shangchul Mahadev Temple Situated right at the edge of the Shangarh meadow, this grand temple is dedicated to the local deity, Lord Shiva.
Head back down the valley toward the Aut Tunnel. Board your overnight Volvo bus back to Delhi.
